Master of scratch, sampling culture, the art of mixing and composition... Wax Tailor excels in all these musical fields. JCLS began studio sessions on the Wax Tailor project back in 2002.
Breaking through in 2004 thanks to the two Eps, Lost the Way, and Que sera / Where my heart's at, the Hope and Sorrow album was released in 2007, cleverly mixing the sounds of trip-hop, jazz and soul, confirming Wax Tailor's talent and commercial success. He delivered the soundtrack for Cédric Klapisch's film Paris in 2008, and was back in 2009 with the album In the Mood for Life.
