Flaubert's Disease, exhibition :
Artistic dialogue.
Flaubert bluntly described the disease to which he believed himself the victim; trances and hallucinations were his daily lot. The famous "Flaubert's Disease" soon became a subject of academic quarrels. Alleged or actual disease pathology... this exhibition does not pretend to prolong the debate, but is more of an excuse for a dialogue between the Flaubert Museum's collections and works from the FRAC Haute-Normandie. A way of revisiting in a poetic manner this space dedicated to literature and medicine.
